Why Watermillock Village Hall ?
A long time ago this event Lead Organiser used to drive a Land Rover along Lake Ullswater to maintain the BBC Television Transmitters at Pooley Bridge and Glenridding. In the summer when it is warm with the sun is glinting on the lake it is a great place to be. It is time to share it with LBW friends !
We have hired Watermillock Village Hall on Lake Ullswater.
It has a large main room, full kitchen, pull down projection screen, ceiling mounted projector, landline internet connection, Wifi, shower, toilets, disabled facilities and car park around the building, adjoining basic camping field.
It is well positioned as a base for Wanderung.
Supported by 508 bus from Penrith Rail station.
Sufficient pubs on Lake Ullswater for the week.
Transport possible to larger independent breweries in Keswick and Penrith
